OpenAI may soon introduce a new way for users to share ChatGPT conversations. One of the upcoming features could make shared chats look much more visually appealing and easier to understand at a glance. At present, when users share a ChatGPT conversation, the app simply creates a link that can be sent to others. While this works well for sharing chats quickly, the person receiving the link has no idea what the conversation is about until they open it. However, this may change soon.
SurveyA new feature spotted in development by Android Authority suggests that ChatGPT could soon offer colourful preview cards while sharing conversations. According to the report, the feature may include three different sharing styles. One option appears to be a simple white card, while the other two designs use colourful backgrounds. These preview cards also display the title of the conversation, helping recipients understand the topic before opening the shared chat.
The company is also reportedly working on a new screenshot sharing feature inside the ChatGPT app. Currently, the app can detect when a user takes a screenshot of a conversation. After detecting the screenshot, ChatGPT shows an option that allows users to share a link to the chat.
With the new feature, users may also be able to directly share screenshots of conversations along with the link. The feature could even allow users to only send the screenshot without sharing the complete conversation link.

These features have not officially rolled out yet, and OpenAI has not shared a launch timeline so far. However, if introduced, the new sharing tools could make ChatGPT conversations easier and more attractive to share across messaging apps and social media platforms.
