Popular tactical shooter game Valorant by Riot games, which has heavily dominated the PC and console gaming scenes, is finally making its way to smartphones. The title is being adapted for smartphones and we finally have details about how and when we can get our hands on it. Here’s everything we know about the launch so far.
The mobile version of Valorant is being developed in collaboration with LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS, the team behind PUBG Mobile. Currently, the project has closed multiple beta tests conducted over the past year. Now, pre-registrations have gone live in China. This gives us a hint that a global launch can also happen pretty soon.
For now, we don’t have any confirmation about the official release date yet, but Riot Games has hinted that Valorant Mobile is expected to launch globally by late 2025. Currently, the beta is limited to China, where users can sign up via the game’s official site.
How to pre-register for Valorant Mobile
Follow these steps to pre-register for Valorant Mobile:
- Visit the official Chinese pre-registration website: valm.qq.com
- Tap the “Pre-register” button.
- Log in using your QQ account or create a new one.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete registration.
- Once successful, you’ll receive a confirmation and a notification on your QQ account.
Well, the game is still in early phases of testing outside of China. Riot Games can soon announce beta access or pre-registration for other countries. But if we look at the current status, access for more regions may soon follow.
Valorant Mobile can become a major contender in the mobile gaming market. It already dominates the PC and console gaming scenes around the globe.
