With its creepy charm and supernatural drama, the series brought the Addams Family world back to life in the best way possible. And now, fans like me are waiting for Wednesday to come back. Well, Netflix has already confirmed that the show will return with a third season.

According to OTTplay, Wednesday season 3 will likely arrive in the summer of 2027. While the first season came out in November 2022, the second season faced delays due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. With filming and editing taking time, the long wait for season 3 makes sense. Just like before, the new season will stream only on Netflix.

What to expect in Wednesday season 3
Season 2 left all of us with big questions and a shocking twist. Wednesday and her family managed to defeat Isaac Night, but the finale hinted that trouble is far from over.
One major mystery waiting to be explored is the story of Wednesday’s aunt, Ophelia. She has been mentioned but kept away from the family for years, and fans may finally discover why Wednesday’s grandmother chose to hide her. This secret could uncover a dark past and connect to Wednesday’s own journey.

Another big plotline will focus on Enid, Wednesday’s loyal best friend. After fully unlocking her werewolf powers, she must learn to lead as an alpha, a role that’ll test her strength and relationships. And of course, Tyler and the Hyde clan are expected to play a larger and more dangerous role.
Jenna Ortega will be returning as the iconic Wednesday Addams. Emma Myers (Enid), Hunter Doohan (Tyler), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), and Luis Guzman (Gomez Addams) are also expected to be back.
