The movie follows the life of Rehaan “Ray” Mehra, played by Kartik Aaryan. Ray is a popular and successful wedding planner based in Los Angeles. He runs his company, Hitched Forever, along with his confident and supportive single mother, Pinky Mehra, played by Neena Gupta. Ray believes in modern love, casual dating, and staying away from serious emotional commitments.
His life takes an unexpected turn during a luxury yacht cruise in Croatia. On this trip, he meets Rumi Vardhan, played by Ananya Panday. Rumi is an aspiring writer from Agra and is very different from Ray. She believes in true love, deep emotions, and old-school romance inspired by classic Bollywood films. Over a ten-day cruise journey, a special bond starts to grow between them.
