The House of the Spirits: Plot
Trueba’s family story starts with Esteban, a man whose strong ambition helps him build the large estate called Las Tres Marias. He marries Clara del Valle, a woman who can see the future and communicate with spirits. Their marriage is full of conflict because he has a quick temper while she stays quiet and distant.
Every year, their family expands. Like, their daughter Blanca loves a person that she should not. Also, their granddaughter Alba grows up during a time of political unrest.
