Revolver Rita is a Tamil action-comedy which is all set for its OTT release. Written and directed by JK Chandru, the movie depicts the life of an average woman, the activities of which get disrupted by an unforeseen threat faced at home. This movie, which takes place in the background of the region of Pondicherry, delivers its message through the activities of a highly supportive family, which gets into critical trouble due to an episode of hysteria. Keerthy Suresh takes the main role in this film, performing the role of an average woman who develops into a courageous character due to the threat to her family’s security.

Revolver Rita: OTT release date and platform
The film will start streaming on Netflix from December 26. It will be available only on the platform and released in several Indian languages to reach a wider audience. Apart from Tamil, viewers can watch the film in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Please note that there is no announcement of the release in Hindi.

Revolver Rita: Plot
The story follows Rita, a working woman employed at a fast food restaurant who lives with her mother and two sisters. Their life is simple and largely uneventful until one night changes everything. During a family gathering at home, a criminal known as Dracula Pandian arrives and tries to force his way inside using a firearm. In the confusion that follows, Rita’s mother unintentionally causes his death by hitting him with a pressure cooker lid.
The situation quickly escalates after the incident. The family realises that the man they killed has strong connections in the criminal world. As gang members begin searching for him and the risk of police involvement increases, fear takes over their household. Rita finds herself at the centre of the crisis, trying to shield her family from harm while managing the consequences of an act that was never meant to happen.
