Wednesday is one of Netflix’s most popular shows globally. The series combines mystery, dark comedy and supernatural elements to tell the story of Wednesday Addams. Played by Jenna Ortega, Wednesday arrives at Nevermore Academy, a school for students with strange and special abilities. As she tries to adjust to life at the academy, she gets pulled into a series of dangerous mysteries. Along the way, she discovers secrets about the school, her family and the people around her. Netflix has not revealed a confirmed release date of Wednesday season 3 yet. However, reports suggest that the new season could arrive sometime in summer 2027. Viewers will be able to watch Wednesday season 3 exclusively on Netflix.

Wednesday season 3 plot
The third season will finally explore the mystery surrounding Aunt Ophelia. Her disappearance will be one of the central parts of the new storyline.
The new season is also expected to give more attention to Enid Sinclair, played by Emma Myers. Her friendship with Wednesday has become an important part of the series. Tyler Galpin could also return. Hunter Doohan may reprise the role, although his involvement has not been fully confirmed.
Talking about the new season, co-creator Alfred Gough said, “Our goal for season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can.”
Wednesday season 3 cast
Jenna Ortega is set to return as Wednesday Addams. Catherine Zeta-Jones is expected to come back as Morticia Addams, while Luis Guzman is also likely to reprise his role as Gomez Addams.
The upcoming season will also bring several new actors to the series. Netflix has confirmed Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer as new additions to the cast. Eva Green is another major addition to season 3. She will play Aunt Ophelia, a character who will have an important role in the new season.
