Get ready for more courtroom fun because Maamla Legal Hai is officially coming back with a second season. The popular legal comedy, which made its debut on Netflix last year, quickly became a fan favourite with its unique mix of humour, lovable characters and relatable Indian court scenes.

Set in the busy Patparganj District Court, the show follows the hilarious misadventures of a group of underpaid, overworked lawyers. The heart of the series is Advocate VD Tyagi, played perfectly by Ravi Kishan. His dramatic courtroom presence brought life and laughter to every episode. Here’s everything we know so far about Maamla Legal Hai season 2.

The good news is that filming for season 2 has already started. While Netflix hasn’t given us an official release date yet, there are strong rumours that the new season will arrive sometime between mid to late 2025. However, this timeline hasn’t been confirmed yet, so fans will have to wait a little longer for an official announcement.

Maamla Legal Hai season 2 is expected to bring even more crazy courtroom stories, new faces and lots of laughs. Ravi Kishan will return as VD Tyagi. He’ll be joined by the familiar team from the first season — Naila Grewal will be back as Ananya, the intern who is still learning the ropes. Nidhi Bisht will return as the passionate lawyer Sujata and Anant Joshi will again play Vishwas.

Adding to the excitement is Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua, who will bring his signature comic flair to the screen. Also joining the cast is internet sensation Kusha Kapila.

Directed by Rahul Pandey and created by Sameer Saxena, the series is expected to maintain its blend of authentic OTT storytelling and lighthearted sitcom-style humour.
