Samsung Galaxy A04

The Samsung Galaxy A04 launched in India recently alongside the Galaxy A04e – Samsung’s latest offerings in its budget Galaxy A lineup. The Samsung Galaxy A04 is a budget smartphone that is priced at ₹11,999 for the base 4 GB + 64 GB variant. In our opinion, this is a bit on the pricier side for the specifications on offer. There’s also a 128 GB ROM variant priced at ₹12,999. The Samsung Galaxy A04 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC – a decent entry-level processor but at this price, you could get phones with the Snapdragon 680 or Dimensity 700 SoC that perform much better and can even do some light gaming.

The phone houses a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a dated-looking teardrop notch. It comes with 4 GB RAM and virtual RAM of up to 8 GB. It comes with up to 128 GB storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 1 TB. The phone runs Android 12 out of the box, however, you will get Android 13 on this device in the future. As for optics, the Samsung Galaxy A04 packs a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50 MP primary sensor but it comes with merely a 5 MP selfie lens. The phone is not 5G ready and comes with Bluetooth v5.0. There’s a large 5,000 mAh battery but only 10 W charging.
