3. Tap on Erase all data and the reset process will begin. 
4. In case you can’t find the Reset option in the About Phone, check the Additional Settings options.
5. Once the reset process begins, you will be given the last option to back up your data. Choosing the Factory Reset option will start a timer of 10 seconds giving you one last choice to stop the reset process. Tap OK here and the reset process will start.
6. It is important that you do not interrupt the reset process otherwise the phone will likely end up in a boot loop or worse. So keep in mind that it is at least 50% charged before you begin the reset to not interrupt the process in between.

Once shut down, hold down the power button and the volume up button together.
