Apple’s foldable is expected to feature a passport-like design, putting it in direct competition with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8. The iPhone Ultra is expected to feature a 7.8-inch inner display. It may also have a 5.5-inch cover screen. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 comes with a 7.6-inch main display. Its outer screen measures 5.5 inches.

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is rumoured to run on the A20 Pro chipset. It could pack a 4,883mAh battery. For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and is backed by a 4,800mAh dual-cell battery.

The iPhone Ultra is expected to feature a dual rear camera system with two 48MP sensors. It could also get an 18MP camera on both the cover and inner displays. For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a dual rear camera setup with 50MP sensors. It has two 10MP selfie cameras, with one placed on the outer display and another on the main screen.

The iPhone Ultra is expected to be priced between Rs 1,90,000 and Rs 2,50,000 in India, according to rumours. In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 comes with a starting price of Rs 1,79,999 that goes up to Rs 2,39,999.
