Reels provide users with various options to spice up their videos with features like adding music, effects, and filters. With the built-in editor on Instagram, you can add multiple clips, add text, stickers, and filters, and even align your video clips for a seamless transition. Let’s come to the main part now, how do you start making reels? First things first, go to the Instagram App and click on the (+) icon where you go to create a new post. Now, scroll and choose the Reels tab. Once you have reached the editor, select a single or multiple videos to play around with. Now, once that’s done. You will find sliders on the screen using which you can trim and adjust the length of your clips. To enhance your reel and add music, sound effects, or even original audio, click on the music note.
Pro tip: Use trending audio for more reach. Then add filters, click on the stars icon and the smiling sticker icon to add animated graphics. If you want to add some text, select the “Aa” icon. And, to add transitions, just swipe and tap the bar in between each of the clips. You can add this to each clip, or add a separate one for individual clips by tapping on each clip.
When you are satisfied with the edit, click on “Next”, and pick a cover image to go with your reel. This cover image can be picked up from within the clips and images that you have added or uploaded from your gallery. Then simply add a caption and hashtags, and you can tag people or products. Share this post or “save to drafts” and share whenever you want to.
