March is generally a busy month for the smartphone industry, and it appears this one will be no different. While we've already seen a few phones launch this month, some of the biggest phone makers in the country are scheduled to launch some interesting devices before the end of the month.

From Vivo to OnePlus and Realme, the last few days of this month will see a number of new flagships beings launched in the country. These phones will feature high-end specifications including Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets paired to powerful cameras, big batteries, and gorgeous displays. Sandwiched between the flagships will also be some mid-range and budget segment devices from the likes of Poco. However, much like the flagships, a lot is expected of these affordable devices that feature powerful hardware for the price they will be sold at.

OnePlus 9

The OnePlus 9 series is scheduled for March 23 launch. The series is expected to be populated by at least two phones -- the OnePlus 9 and the Oneplus 9 Pro(₹ 64999 at amazon). Of the two, the OnePlus 9 is expected to be a more affordable device. However, the phone will still feature powerful specifications as the device is tipped to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage variant. The OnePlus 9 is also tipped to get a 6.55-inch AMOLED display panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and the capability to process textures in up to FHD+ resolution.

As for cameras, the device is likely to sport a triple camera set-up, which is tipped to include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 primary camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultrawide snapper. The third lens in the set-up is likely to be a macro sensor. For selfies, it is tipped to get a 16MP front camera. Apart from this, the OnePlus 9 is likely to feature a stereo speaker setup with the lights being kept on by a 4,500mAh battery capable of 65W fast charging.

Oneplus 9 Pro

The second OnePlus device expected to be launched later this month is the Oneplus 9 Pro 5G. This will be the most expensive device from the OnePlus 9 series and will bring with itself high-end specifications and a premium design language.

The Oneplus 9 Pro is widely tipped to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera. Under the hood, there will be a 5G-enabled Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired to as much as 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of RAM. The phone is also tipped to feature a quad-camera set-up with a Sony IMX789 48-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultrawide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel lens for depth sensing. There is also expected to be a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The battery on the device is expected to be a 4,500mAh pack with support for 65W fast charging. Further, the Oneplus 9 Pro could also feature 30W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

OnePlus 9R

Apart from the above-mentioned OnePlus devices, there are strong rumours about the company also launching a slightly more affordable OnePlus 9 Lite/ OnePlus 9R. This is tipped to be a new addition to the line-up of OnePlus devices, with the phone expected to feature slightly toned-down hardware in comparison to the OnePlus 9 and Oneplus 9 Pro.

As for its specifications, the OnePlus 9R is tipped to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with support for 90Hz refresh rate. Underneath, the OnePlus 9R is also expected to bring support for 5G basebands, however, the chip here could be the mid-range Snapdragon 690 SoC -- instead of the high-end Snapdragon 888 on the OnePlus 9 series phones. The chipset is likely to be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

There's no information about the other specifications of the phone. However, it is expected that the device will bring with itself decent hardware when it comes to the camera and battery department.

Vivo X60

The Vivo X60 series is set to be launched in India on March 25, with the series set to see the debut of three new phones on the date. Of the three, the base X60 is tipped to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. This recently launched chip is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Based on 7nm process technology, this chip comes with a Kryo 385 CPU and has a tri-cluster architecture.

While the phone is likely to flaunt an X60-like same 6.56-inch Full HD+ (2376 x 1080 pixels) resolution AMOLED display with a 120Hz high refresh rate, it is expected to get an extra lens to enhance the picture-taking capabilities of the device.
