Computex 2026 kicks off soon: Date, time, and what to expect

It’s that time of the year again. Computex 2026 will be held in Taiwan next week and various tech brands from around the world are all set to showcase what’s next in the world of technology. From gaming devices and AI-powered PCs to next-generation processors and graphics cards, the event has become the stage where brands like Asus, Nvidia, AMD, Intel,, Acer, MSI, and Qualcomm unveil their latest innovations.

Last year, Computex was heavily focused on AI PCs, powerful gaming hardware, robotics, and next-gen chips. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote also became one of the biggest highlights of the show. Now, with Computex 2026 around the corner, excitement across the tech industry is once again at an all-time high. Here’s all you need to know ahead of the show.

Computex 2026: When and where

Computex 2026 will officially take place from June 2 to June 5 in Taipei, Taiwan. The main exhibition and showcases will be hosted at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (Halls 1 and 2), TWTC, and TICC.

Computex 2026: What to expect

Now coming to what you can expect. As expected, Computex is expected to be all about AI this time. With more and more brands hopping on the AI bandwagon and many others focusing on ‘agentic AI’, it will be interesting to see where AI-focused hardware is headed next.

And this reflects in the keynote sessions that have already been scheduled. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon is expected to kick things off with an opening keynote on June 1, while Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan will also deliver a keynote during the event. NVIDIA’s GTC Taipei event is also scheduled alongside Computex between June 1 and June 4, and Jensen Huang is expected to once again take centre stage with major AI-related announcements. 

Gaming is also expected to remain in the spotlight. Brands like ASUS, MSI, Acer, Lenovo, and Gigabyte are likely to unveil new gaming devices powered by next-generation Intel and AMD processors, along with upgraded NVIDIA RTX graphics. Intel may also showcase advancements in its integrated Arc graphics technology for handheld gaming systems. 

Apart from PCs and gaming, Computex 2026 is also expected to highlight robotics and mobility solutions. This includes AI-powered robots, smart mobility platforms, industrial AI systems, and edge computing technologies. Qualcomm, Intel, Microsoft, and NXP are all expected to discuss the future of AI-driven devices and intelligent systems during their keynote sessions and forums. 

The event will also likely bring major announcements around creator-focused laptops, workstation hardware, AI software tools, and faster memory and storage technologies. Startups participating under the InnoVEX platform are also expected to showcase experimental AI products and futuristic concepts that could shape the next generation of consumer tech.
