These chips will be even more powerful than Apple's current top-of-the-line M2 Max chipset.
Tomorrow, on the occasion of Halloween, Apple has announced the ‘Scary Fast’ event. The tech giant is expected to unpack new Macs during the event. However, this event is also said to be a technical-focused event, unlike other events. Apple is expected to take the stage with its new M3 series chips. It is expected that Apple will introduce three new M3 series chipsets at the event, along with Macs.
Apple Scary Fast expected launches
According to a report by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple will announce three new M3 series chips. Apart from that, Gurman also mentioned that Apple will bring updates to the new MacBook Pro models and iMac as well.

Speaking of Apple’s M3 chipsets, we know that these chips will be even more powerful than Apple’s current top-of-the-line M2 Max chipset which has a 12‑core CPU, 38‑core GPU, and 16‑core Neural Engine. The upcoming chipsets are said to be made of 3nm technology, which is an achievement in itself. The tech giant could announce three new chipsets: M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max.
Next up, the iMac’s time is also here. The iMac was first announced in 1998 and if we notice on the calendar, then it’s 25 years now since it was announced. Last year, Apple didn’t come up with anything special for the iMac. It’s been two years now since the iMac got upgraded with the M1 chip. Tomorrow is expected to be a big day for the Apple iMac. It is pretty obvious that if Apple announces the M3 chipsets, it will also announce the iMac with M3.
