Motorola's next smartphone announcement might be related to the updated E series. The company has already introduced the updated G5 and G5 Plus with a metal design and it is now the Moto E series' turn to get the metal construction. The updated Moto E4 has already leaked in the form of renders before and now it has appeared on Geekbench's benchmarking platform.
The Moto E series has been the lower-end lineup for Lenovo, but that is likely to change with the launch of Moto C and C Plus this year. The Moto E4 has been certified by the FCC and its launch now seems imminent. The Geekbench listing reveals that the Moto E4 features 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and will likely sport a 720p display.
The handset is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.25GHz coupled with Mali-T720MP2 GPU. The Moto E4 is expected to feature a 13MP rear camera and offer 4G support. The smartphone will also offer dual-SIM functionality, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi and a 2800mAh battery. Moto E4 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and will likely to be priced around Rs 10,000.
