The CEO of Nothing, Carl Pei even engaged in a publicity stunt for Indian fans by changing his Twitter name to ‘Carl Bhai.’ Now, Nothing has introduced a new variant exclusively for India. The Nothing Phone (2a) India-exclusive variant features a different colour and a one-day reduced price. Let’s delve into the details.

The Nothing Phone (2a) has introduced a new Blue colour variant tailored for the Indian market. The Blue edition will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting May 2 at 12pm IST for a special price of ₹19,999. As I mentioned above, this special price will be available for just one day. After that, the smartphone will be available at the same price, ₹23,999.

Specifications

The Nothing Phone 2a has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with adaptive refresh rates from 30Hz to 120Hz. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Moreover, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The Phone (2a) operates on Nothing OS 2.5.5, based on Android 14.

For photography, it uses a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel Ultrawide sensor. A 32-megapixel front camera is there for selfies and video calls.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone (2a) houses a 5000mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging support. The device also includes dual stereo speakers and has an IP54 dust and water-resistant rating.
