As per a report from OTTplay, Wednesday season 3 is expected to arrive in the summer of 2027. The first season arrived in November 2022, and the second season took longer than expected due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, so the gap before season 3 isn’t surprising given the time needed for filming, VFX and post-production. The new season will stream exclusively on Netflix.

What to expect in Wednesday season 3
Season 2 wrapped up with several mysteries still hanging in the air. Although Wednesday and the Addams family managed to defeat Isaac Night, the ending hinted that their battles are far from finished. One of the most interesting storylines expected in season 3 is connected to Wednesday’s aunt, Ophelia. She has only been mentioned briefly so far and has stayed away from the Addams family for reasons that are still unknown. The new season may finally reveal why Wednesday’s grandmother decided to hide her existence and how Ophelia’s past connects to Wednesday’s own journey. This hidden family secret could uncover a darker side of the Addams history.

At the same time, Enid will be dealing with her own transformation. After accepting her werewolf powers fully, she now has to grow into her role as an alpha. This will test her friendships, confidence and strength in new ways. Meanwhile, Tyler and the dangerous Hyde clan are expected to return.
Jenna Ortega will once again lead the show as Wednesday Addams. Other returning cast members expected for the new season include Emma Myers (Enid), Hunter Doohan (Tyler), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams) and Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams).
