According to OTTplay, Wednesday season 3 is expected to release in the summer of 2027. While the first season premiered in November 2022, the second season got delayed because of the SAG-AFTRA strike. Considering the time needed for production and post-production, the long gap before season 3’s arrival seems understandable. Just like the earlier seasons, the upcoming one will also stream exclusively on Netflix.

What to expect in Wednesday season 3
Season 2 ended with plenty of unanswered questions. Wednesday and her family managed to defeat Isaac Night, but the finale made it clear that their troubles are far from over. One of the biggest mysteries expected to unfold in the new season is about Wednesday’s aunt, Ophelia. She has been mentioned briefly in the series but has remained distant from the Addams family for unknown reasons. Fans might finally learn why Wednesday’s grandmother chose to hide her, and this secret could reveal a dark part of the family’s past, possibly tied to Wednesday’s own story.
Meanwhile, Enid, Wednesday’s best friend, will have her own challenges to face. After fully embracing her werewolf powers, she’ll have to grow into her new role as an alpha, testing both her courage and relationships. And of course, Tyler and the Hyde clan are expected to make a dangerous comeback, adding more chaos to Wednesday’s world.
Jenna Ortega will reprise her role as Wednesday Addams. Other familiar faces, such as Emma Myers (Enid), Hunter Doohan (Tyler), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), and Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), are also expected to return in season 3.
