WhatsApp on Wear OS: All you need to know

When you tap on the WhatsApp for Wear OS, it will seem rather simple in design. A list of the recent contacts pop up and there is the settings menu. To round it all off there is the "Open on phone" option on the main page.

Even the setup process is said to be very straightforward. You just have to enter an eight-digit code from the watch to the app.

Besides, WhatsApp for Wear OS has a compilation of the number of unread messages you have. Also, there are two different blocks for WhatsApp contacts which allows you to jump from one conversation to another and also send a quick audio recording.

This would be great for the first-party to show off its capabilities.

This is all that has been revealed about the app. But, for this you need to sign up for WhatsApp beta and both your smartphone and watch should have WhatsApp version 2.23.10.10+. Also, this is not yet available on iOS.

That is all we know about this app as of now. Once all of its major bugs (if any) are ironed out, WhatsApp for Wear OS is likely to be rolled out to all users.
