Videocon has forayed into the 4K Ultra High Definition Smart TV segment with 'feature-packed' 5 new models.
Videocon today unveiled a new range of 4K Ultra High Definition LED Smart TVs. The company hopes its new smart TV range will help boost market share in the Flat Panel Display (FPD) segment to 20% from the current 16%. Videocon's new range of smart TVs start at Rs. 91,000.
The new range of Videocon TV comes with features such as 3D gaming and face Recognition. The company points out its new TVs have 8.3 mega pixels, four times more pixels than a conventional Full HD, and eight times more than any HD LED.
The Videocon 4K UHD LED TVs features N-sreen and home cloud technologt that enable users to share media from one phone to their LED through Wi-Fi. Wireless Display enables streaming of movies from the mobile device to the TV.
The new range includes 5 new models in different screen sizes, ranging between 40-inch and 85-inch. The new range will be available across markets by September.

We have carefully studied consumer’s requirements and have added features such as 3D gaming with motion sensing. With many more features, we are certain that Videocon 4K UHD LED is the India’s most feature-packed 4K Ultra High Definition Smart TV,” says CM Singh, COO, Videocon.
