LG India introduced its new range of OLED Evo AI and QNED TVs in the country on May 15, 2024, available in sizes ranging from 43 to 97 inches. LG’s new Alpha 11 processor in G4 promises 4x the AI performance, 1.7x the graphic performance, and 1.3x the processing power. The processor enables AI features like AI Picture Pro with AI Super Upscaling, AI Sound Pro for virtual surround sound experience, HDR dynamic tone-mapping, and more.
LG also introduced its new WebOS Re:New program, which guarantees operating system upgrades for the next five years. LG assures that each update will overhaul the UI, providing customers with the feel of a new TV each year for the next five years.
Other important highlights include support for 4k@144Hz gaming with Nvidia G-sync-certified VRR, HDMI 2.1 connectivity, and Dolby Vision Gaming.

LG OLED evo AI TVs (2024)
The flagship LG OLED Evo G4 is expected to employ the second generation Meta 2.0 OLED panel with the new Meta brightness booster technology. These panels are rated to achieve a peak brightness of 3000 Nits and 250 nits on full screen. LG OLED AI TVs are available in multiple sizes across the G4, B4, and C4 series.

LG QNED AI TVs (2024)
LG’s QNED AI TVs that combine Quantum Dots Enhancement Film with Nanocell film for richer colours include QNED90T, QNED88T, and QNED82T. The flagship QNED models include a mini LED backlight for precision dimming. LG didn’t officially talk about panel technology but going by the global launch, it is no longer sticking to just IPS LCD panels in the new QNED TVs and you will find a mix of VA LCD and other technologies.
