Apple’s much-awaited foldable iPhone may finally see the light of day as rumours point to the tech giant preparing to launch its first foldable device later this year. The device may sport a creaseless folding display and even the largest battery ever used in an iPhone. While Apple has made no official confirmation of the device or its specifications, these rumours give users an idea of what to expect. In terms of numbers, the handset may equip a 7.8-inch LTPO OLED panel as an inner foldable which is anticipated to be a nearly square 4:3 aspect ratio. Along with that, it may also house a 5.5-inch outer cover display.

The Apple iPhone Fold is anticipated to launch with Apple’s native A20 Pro chip, which is said to be built on TSMC’s 2nm process. Moreover, it may also house 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and feature up to 1TB of internal storage.

Leaks suggest that it may come packed with 5,500 mAh, which is potentially the largest battery when compared to the iPhones launched to date.
