Reliance Jio introduces gaming focused recharge plans: Check prices, benefits

Reliance Jio has officially announced a slew of prepaid plans tailored specifically for mobile gamers. These gaming-centric plans offer both standalone and add-on options, as well as access to JioGames Cloud, the company’s own cloud-based game streaming service. The telecom operator intends to make console-level gaming more accessible across all devices without the need for specific hardware.

Starting with the add-on packs, users can receive gaming benefits for Rs. 48, Rs. 98, and Rs. 298. However, these packs do not include voice or SMS benefits, and users must have an active base plan. The Rs 48 plan includes 10MB of high-speed data and a three-day subscription to JioGames Cloud, whereas the Rs 98 plan includes a seven-day subscription. The Rs 298 plan includes 3GB of data and 28-day access to Jio Cloud.

If you are looking for a complete plan that includes gaming services, Jio has also announced two recharge plans: Rs 495 and Rs 544. The Rs 495 plan includes 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS/day for 28 days, as well as JioGames Cloud, FanCode, and JioHotstar (3 months). The Rs 544 plan provides the same benefits but includes an additional 2GB of internet per day.

These plans include JioGames Cloud, a cloud-based gaming platform that enables users to stream and play games on their smartphones, PCs, and Jio set-top boxes without the need for downloading or gaming consoles. With this, the company hopes to provide high-quality gaming experiences with low latency, thereby making premium gaming more accessible.

The customers can opt for these recharge plans via apps like Paytm, Google Pay, MyJio app or more.
