Bharti Airtel has introduced a new broadband plan which offers 300Mbps speeds. The FTTH (Fiber-To-the-Home) plan comes at a monthly rental of Rs 2,199 plus taxes and offers 1200GB data. Users also get unlimited STD/Local calling with Airtel's new 300Mbps plan.

According to Airtel’s website, users will also get a bonus data of 1000GB valid till October 31, 2018. You also have the option to roll over data to your next billing cycle. Airtel's broadband plan also gives you one year of free Amazon Prime subscription with which users can access prime videos, prime music and faster deliveries.

Commenting on the launch, George Mathen, CEO, Homes, Bharti Airtel said, “Following the resounding success of our V-Fiber home broadband offering, we are delighted to introduce the new FTTH based plans for customers looking for higher speeds. Fixed broadband continues to be the preferred in-home mode for customers to consume online digital content and the average usage per home is growing at a breakneck speed. With this in mind, we will plan to expand our FTTH offerings over the coming days and provide our customers the choice of home broadband plans across a wide range of price points and speeds.”

Before you get excited and request for an upgrade to this plan, you will have to check if Airtel proves FTTH in your area. Users can head to Airtel's website or the My Airtel app to check eligibility.
