Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants starting at Rs 10,999
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the latest smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker will be available on sale today at 12 noon. The smartphone is available for purchase in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants exclusively on Flipkart. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the successor to company's best-selling Redmi Note 3 smartphone.
The Redmi Note 4 follows its predecessor with the same metal unibody design and houses a beefy 4100mAh battery for an all-day use. Over 2.5 lakh units of Redmi Note 4 got sold out in under 10 minutes during the first flash sale held on January 23 on Flipkart and Mi.com. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 offers a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The device was announced in three different storage options – 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 4GB RAM, 64GB storage. The smartphone first announced back in August in China also got a new black colour variant.
Xiaomi has also updated the rear camera of Redmi Note 4 with a new 13MP Sony image sensor with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is a 5MP unit with support for beauty modes, face recognition and full HD video recording. The dual-SIM Redmi Note 4 is 8.45mm thick and weighs around 165 grams. In our review, we observed that the smartphone is a definite improvement over its predecessor but not a worthy upgrade over Redmi Note 3. "Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is fast, lasts long, has a functional display and an improved camera," we noted in our review.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM variant while the 4GB RAM option will set you back by Rs 12,999. The smartphones will only be available in gold and dark grey colour options.
