Xiaomi is expected to announce the Redmi Note 4 in India on January 19, and the device will be a Flipkart exclusive. The Indian e-commerce giant has started teasing the next Xiaomi device as a Flipkart exclusive product.

In a series of tweets, Flipkart claims Xiaomi's next device to be a 'complete all-rounder'. The video tweeted by Flipkart calls the device a complete package with 'stunning looks, lightning fast performance and incredible stamina'. In a follow-up tweet, Xiaomi India confirmed that its next device is indeed landing exclusively on Flipkart.

Xiaomi has been teasing its first product announcement in India for sometime. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone was first announced in August 2016 in China.

The Redmi Note 4 doesn't differ much from the Redmi Note 3 in terms of design, but features a deca-core processor. the device sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC. However, the smartphone is expected to launch here with Snapdragon 625 processor.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was announced in two storage variants – 2GB RAM model with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM variant with 64GB storage. The smartphones were priced at 899 Yuan (approximately Rs 8,990) and 1,199 Yuan (approximately Rs 11,990) respectively. As far as the camera is concerned, the Redmi Note 4 sports a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP one with support for 85-degree wide angle selfies.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and comes with a beefy 4100mAh battery like its predecessor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was launched at a starting price of Rs 9,999 and the Redmi Note 4 could arrive at a similar price tag.
