A Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1906F9SH has been submitted to the FCC for approval. The model number matches that of the Mi CC9e that launched in China a week ago. Speculation circulating the internet suggest that the smartphone could launch as the Mi A3 in international markets. This speculation arises from a US FCC listing which suggests that the device could launch as an Android One smartphone. The design of the smartphone submitted to the FCC is very similar to the Mi CC9e. The dimensions of the phone submitted to the FCC also match the Xiaomi Mi CC9e.

Further, the schematics reveals that the device could support either a dual-SIM setup or a single SIM and microSD card setup hinting at a hybrid SIM slot on the device. The FCC listing suggests that the device will sport a 48MP rear camera with artificial intelligence (AI) features.

Since the rumoured Mi A3 is based on the launched Mi CC9e, let's take a look at the specifications on offer on the Mi CC9e. This device sports a 6.088-inch AMOLED display with an HD+ resolution and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. It also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor. For the camera, the smartphone has a 48MP primary camera sensor with an f/1.79 aperture lens on the back. It is supported by an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 32MP sensor. 

A 4030mAh battery powers the entire package with support for 18W charging. However, the phone comes with a 10W charger in the box. It has lauched in three variants – 4GB/64GB for CNY 1,299 (approx Rs 13,000), 6GB/64GB for CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 14,000), and 6GB/128GB for CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 16,000).
