Xiaomi is holding a product launch event in China on November 24. The company has sent out invites for the event and while the company hasn’t specified what it is launching, it is speculated to be the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the Redmi Note 2 Pro. Those who are interested in attending the event can purchase tickets for CNY 199, which is about Rs. 2,000. These tickets are limited to just 500. Xiaomi co-founder and president Lin Bin also posted an image of the invitation letter.

Earlier rumours suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched on December 3. The phone is tipped to come with a 5.5-inch QHD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and would have 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras. The device is also expected to come with a fingerprint scanner and would be available with 16GB/64GB onboard storage. Rumours also suggest that the phone will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or a MediaTek Helio X20 processor. A few days ago, a Xiaomi phone powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC was spotted on Geekbench. The phone was codenamed ‘Gemini’ and it is possible that it is the Xiaomi Mi 5. The listing showed that it has 3GB RAM  with four ARMv8 cores clocked at 1.59GHz. The device managed to get a single-core score of 2140 and a multi-core score of 4762.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro also appeared on TENAA a few days ago. The device comes with an all-metal body and a fingerprint scanner at the back. As per the listing, the device has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor with 2GB RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of internal memory and a 3060mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 was also spotted on Geekbench and according to the listing, it will be powered by an Intel X5-Z8500 SoC clocked at 2.24GHz. This would make it the first Intel powered Xiaomi device. The listing also showed that the device will come with 2GB RAM and run Android Lollipop v5.1. The Mi Pad 2 got a single-core score of 985 and a multi-core score of 3400.
