Videocon Mobile Phones Division has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The new Videocon Z51 Nova runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The phone is available for Rs. 5400.

The Videocon Z51 Nova has a 5-inch FWVGA IPS touch screen. It sports 5MP Rear Camera and 2MP front camera. The smartphone has 8GB ROM and supports 32GB expandable storage. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi . A 2000 mAh battery powers the phone. Other features of the phone include GPS navigation, G-Sensor, Proximity sensor, built in Anti-Virus (V-secure) and a GPS powered personal safety application (V-safe) both with a 90 day free subscription.

Videocon recently launched a Z45 Nova+ smartphone for Rs. 4,900. The budget smartphone features dual-SIM connectivity. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali400 MP2 GPU. It features a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display. The phone sports sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
