Samsung has unveiled a triple SIM phone dubbed as the Galaxy Star Trios in Brazil for $165. We expect the phone to be launched in other markets soon. The phone is a response to LG's triple SIM phone the Optimus L1 II Tri.
In response to LG’s Optimus L1 II Tri, Samsung today announced a triple SIM phone for the Brazilain market – dubbed as the Galaxy Star Trios.
The phone sports a 3.1-inch QVGA display and runs on Qualcomm MSM7225A Snapdragon S1 chipset, which is a single core 1GHz processor, Adreno 200 GPU along with 512MB RAM.
The Galaxy Star Trios includes a 2MP rear camera, 4GB expandable storage, 3G connectivity with HSPA support, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 1,300 mAh battery. The phone’s OS will be Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios will be available in black and white colors. It’s much more expensive than LG’s Optimus L1 II Tri, being sold for around $165. We can expect the phone to be launched in India as well, as India and Brazil (to a certain extent) share certain demographics, though nothing is official yet.
