The Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, Z2 smartphone, and Z2 tablet were all launched in India in 2014. All four of these devices were launched running Android KitKat v4.4. The company also noted that the Marshmallow update is already available for the Xperia Z5, Z5 Premium, and Z3+ smartphones.
