The listing reveals that Sony Pikachu offers 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and a dual-core GPU. The handset features a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by MediaTek's Helio P20 chipset. It comes with a 21MP rear camera and a 7MP selfie shooter, with both cameras supporting Full HD video recording.

Sony Pikachu reportedly runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The device could be the recently leaked Sony G3112, with Helio P20 SoC and 720p display. Sony might also announce a smartphone with a 4K resolution display and Snapdragon 835 processor, bringing a follow-up to the 2015 flagship, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.

With Xiaomi opting out and Samsung not announcing Galaxy S8, Sony could have the most interesting product lineup at MWC this year. It will be interesting to see how Sony competes with LG's mobile offerings.
