Sony Xperia C4 selfie smartphone launched at Rs. 29,490

Sony Xperia C4 launched, features a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front selfie camera and an octa-core processor.

Sony India has launched the Xperia C4 smartphone in India for Rs 29,490. The smartphone is available in all Sony Xperia and major electronic stores across India from June 12.

The Sony Xperia C4 smartphone has a 5.5” Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It is backed by the firm's Bravia Engine 2 technology and has a Super Vivid mode. It has a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone has 16 GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card up to 128 GB. Connectivity options included in the Xperia C4 are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE, Micro-USB, DLNA, and NFC support. The smartphone is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The smartphone, sucessor to the Xperia C3, comes with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP wide-angle front camera for clicking selfies. The rear camera has Sony’s Exmor RTM for mobile sensor, soft LED flash and HDR features for picture clarity. Sony has also preloaded the smartphone with selfie camera apps like AR mask effect that lets you place a different face over your own face or others’ faces while you snap a selfie. The smartphone is backed by a 2600 mAh battery, which according to the company delivers 12 hours 47 minutes of talk time, up to 682 hours of standby time and 53 hours of music listening time. The smartphone also has a Battery STAMINA Mode 5.0. The Xperia C4 is available in white, black and vibrant mint color variants.

Last month, Sony has also announced the dust and dust resistant Xperia M4 Aqua in India for Rs. 24,990. It has a 5-inch 720 pixels display, is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and runs Android 5.0. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM expandable via microSD card slot. It has a 13 MP autofocus rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. Connectivity options included in the smartphone are aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5 mm audio jack USB High speed 2.0, microUSB support, Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality. The smartphone is powered by a 2400 mAh battery.
