Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch its next generation of foldable smartphones next month. This year’s lineup may see a big change in the company’s foldable strategy. Traditionally, Samsung unveils one book-style foldable and one clamshell foldable, but recent leaks suggest the company may expand its offerings. Reports hint that Samsung is working on multiple versions of its book-style foldable, including a wider model and an Ultra variant. Interestingly, the wider version is expected to carry the Galaxy Z Fold 8 name, while the standard model may be marketed as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Although Samsung has not officially confirmed any details, a growing number of leaks and rumours have already provided a glimpse of what the upcoming foldables might bring.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is said to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Furthermore, it may equip a 4,800mAh or 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to feature a 6.9-inch display and a 4.1-inch cover display. In terms of optics, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is said to sport a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, the device may equip a 10MP front-facing camera.
Powering the device could be the Exynos 2500 chip. Furthermore, the flip-style foldable will likely pack a 4,300 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
