After that unexpected disappointment with Galaxy Note7, Samsung is reportedly doing everything it would take to make Galaxy S8 a grand success. The company has been rumoured to introduce new features like dedicated button for its AI assistant based on Viv while keeping focus on the device's overall design.

Samsung has been widely rumoured to introduce Galaxy S8 with bezel less design and the smartphone is also reported to drop the fingerprint sensor. Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to ditch the home button and the fingerprint sensor will be embedded right into the glass panel. According to a new Forbes report, Samsung Galaxy S8 will use a new technology that will embed the sensors right into the display panel. The use of this technology is expected to make the smartphone considerably thinner and help cut cost of the screen unit.

Samsung is also expected to bring Y-OCTA display technology, first seen on Galaxy Note7 smartphone. The use of Y-OCTA display with new process will help Samsung keep the manufacturing process in-house. Samsung is moving in the direction of several other smartphone makers who have turned their smartphones significantly thinner.

Samsung Galaxy S8 launch is rumoured to be delayed till late March or early April in order to deliver a device that doesn't explode. Samsung is also expected to introduce some of the software elements first introduced with Note7 but the lack of feedback makes it difficult for the company.

Earlier rumours indicated that Samsung Galaxy S8 will launch with 5.7-inch curved display and there won't be a regular version of the product. Samsung Galaxy S8 is also rumoured to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and likely to get 6GB RAM. Samsung is also expected to introduce Bluetooth 5.0, a standard that allows for four times bigger range and double the speed.

Samsung is reportedly working hard to make its Galaxy S8 a stunning piece of hardware. While Galaxy S8 will most certainly have the latest piece of hardware, Samsung's focus is mostly likely to be on design.
