Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, the much anticipated 2017 flagship smartphones will launch on March 29. The Korean smartphone maker has already started sending out invites for the Unpacked launch event in New York. Now, ahead of the launch, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ have leaked in a video showing the curved-screen and thin bezels.

The video shows two working devices with design very similar to what we have seen in previous leaks. The front of the device is dominated by the display and there is no physical button. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back right next to the rear camera. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C charging port and a speaker at the bottom.

The video confirms always-on display support coming to the Galaxy S8 and S8+. It also shows a volume rocker placed at the left, while the power button is below on the right. Under the power button is a new physical button, which could possibly be used to trigger the Bixby Assistant.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are rumoured to launch with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED displays. With the S8 series, Samsung is reportedly dropping the regular variant, and both devices will feature dual-curved edge displays. The handsets will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset, while select markets will get an Exynos-powered variant.

The new Galaxy S8 and S8+ are expected to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while China is likely to get an extra 6GB RAM option. The smartphones will be waterproof and Samsung is also expected to improve the camera with new features.

According to many leaks in the past, the main attraction is expected to be the Bixby AI assistant, with visual recognition abilities. The AI assistant is expected to be based on VIV platform and offer deep integration with system applications. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ might launch at a price cheaper than that of the Google Pixel and Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
