Winfuture.de’s Roland Quandt has tweeted that the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus may soon be available in ‘Cardinal Red’ colour variant

It is not yet known if the Samsung Galaxy S10e will also get the colour option

The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus may soon be available in a new colour variant. According to a tweet by Winfuture.de’s Roland Quandt, the two phones will soon be available in a new red colour scheme called ‘Cardinal Red’. It should be noted that the Quandt’s tweet does not mention the Galaxy S10e. So it is not yet known if the most affordable member of Samsung's latest flagship lineup will get the new colour option.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series was launched back in March. The 1TB and 512GB variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus are available in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black, while the 128GB variant is available in Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue colours. The Samsung Galaxy S10 512GB variant is available in Prism White, while the 128GB variant is available in Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue colours.

If Samsung does launch a new colour variant of the Galaxy S10 smartphones, it won’t be the first time it did so. Back in April 2018, the company launched a new ‘Burgundy Red’ edition of the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. This was almost a year after the company had unveiled the smartphone.

In related news, Samsung may unveil the Galaxy A80 smartphone sometime next month. The phone is already available in Thailand and according to reports, the device might be priced at around Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000 in India. The device sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ edge-to-edge display. It also features a notch-less design. The most notable feature is how it manages this design. Instead of a pop-up camera system, the entire rear-camera stack rises up and then flips over for use at a front camera. The Galaxy A80 sports a triple camera system with a 48MP sensor, paired with an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 3D ToF sensor for depth measurement.
