Xiaomi recently announced the Redmi Note 7 in China and has also teased bringing the phone to India. The smartphone features a 48 MP main camera on the back and it will soon receive a Super Night Scene camera mode via a forthcoming software update. The feature was previously seen on the Mi Mix 3 smartphone and the company claims that the new mode will enable capturing brighter images in low-light conditions, on the Redmi Note 7. The Super Night Scene mode is already present for users of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S and the Mi 8 and it’s now arriving for Redmi Note 7 users too.
The news comes via the company’s official Weibo account where the company confirmed it will soon roll-out the new feature via a software update. Xiaomi also said that the next flash sale of the phone in China will be on January 25 at 10:00AM CST (7:30AM IST). The Super Night Scene is Xiaomi’s take on the Night Sight Mode and Night Mode on Google and OnePlus phones. The new mode captures several images with varying exposure values and combines them to create an image with less noise and is brighter.
