Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7S are now available in a new Astro White colour model.
The handsets will go up for pre-order from midnight on August 7.
Both handsets come equipped with a 48MP rear camera module.
Redmi has announced a new Astro White colour variant of its Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Redmi 7S smartphones. The new colour version of the handsets will go up for pre-order tomorrow at midnight via mi.com and Flipkart. The Redmi Note 7 Pro was already announced in Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black colour variants, while the Redmi Note 7S comes in Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red colour models. There are no hardware changes with the new Astro White variant as the internals remain the same and only the paint job changes.
Redmi Note 7 Pro Specifications
The Redmi Note 7 Pro (review) is a mid range handset, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC octa-core processor and comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LTPS screen, the device features a 19.5:9 waterdrop notch display design. In terms of optics, the handset is equipped with a 48MP main rear camera and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front is a 13MP camera that also enables face unlock. Equipped with a Type-C port, the Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 4000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.
Redmi Note 7S specifications
The Redmi Note 7S sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with a 2340 × 1080p resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC and comes in two variants, one with 3GB RAM and another with 4GB RAM, which are paired with 32GB and 64GB of storage space respectively. Coming to optics, the handset gets a 48MP + 5MP dual sensor configuration on the back. On the front, it sports a 13MP camera that supports AI Portrait mode. The handset is backed by a 4000mAh battery and comes equipped with a USB Type-C port that supports Quick Charge 4. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.
Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7S Astro White pre-booking details
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and its 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option costs Rs 15,999. There’s also a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which is priced at Rs 16,999. The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 7S (first-impressions) is priced starting at Rs 10,999 and goes up to Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB version.
As mentioned earlier, the two handsets will go up for pre-orders midnight tomorrow, on August 8, via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.
