Realme has already confirmed that its upcoming handsets will feature a quad rear-camera setup. The Realme 5 Pro will sport a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor as its primary camera module on the rear. A dedicated microsite of the handset on Flipkart not only suggests that it will be available via the online retailer, but also confirms the presence of an ultra-wide lens with 119-degree field of view, a Super Macro lens with a 4cm microscopic focal length and a fourth lens that will assist in capturing portrait images. While we will be covering the launch and will bring you all the official details in real-time, there have been sightings and reports about the upcoming Realme handsets.

The Realme 5 recently surfaced on Geekbench, where some of its key specifications were revealed. However, we suggest you take the info with a pinch of salt since they are not from an official source. The listing hints at a 4GB RAM variant of the phone that’s running on a 1.8 processor, which is rumoured to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The device managed to score 1525 points in Geekbench’s single-core tests, and 5948 in the multi-core tests.

Previously, the company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, announced that the company has a new phone in its pipeline that is equipped with Samsung’s Bright GW1 sensor. This sensor has a 64MP resolution and uses Samsung’s ISOCELL technology to capture images. We got our hands on a prototype phone, and you can read our first impressions about it here.
