Yet another Chinese manufacturer plans to tap India's mammoth smartphone industry.
Chinese manufacturer Oppo is reportedly planning to launch its flagship smartphone, Find 5, in India.
The Oppo Find 5 comes with a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of a 1920 x 1080 pixel full HD and 441ppi pixel density. The smartphone/phablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor. It has 2GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and 1.9MP front facing camera. The Find 5 comes with a 2,500mAh battery.
For connectivity, the Find 5 supports NFC, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Other notable feature of the smartphone/phablet is the Direct HD sound system, which is supposed to provide improved audio experience. According to reports, the 16GB version of the Oppo Find 5 will be priced at Rs. 27,445, while the 32 GB version will carry a price tag of Rs. 31,259. As of now, there’s no official word on the exact release date of the smartphone.

Reports of the Oppo Find 5 India release comes amid rumours that the company may soon unveil a successor to its flagship smartphone. Although details of the Find 5 successor are sketchy, the next smartphone is expected to come with 5-inch full HD display, 2GB RAM and notably an 8MP front facing camera. The Find 5 successor is expected to be released in September this year.
