Oppo is running a “Big Game Big Cashback Offer” for the F9 Pro on Amazon.in, from September 15 to September 28, which gives buyers a chance to win a 100% cashback on the device.
The OPPO F9 Pro was unveiled a month or so ago at Rs 23,990. However, now OPPO is giving customers a chance to get a 100 percent cashback on the purchase of the phone from Amazon.in. The company running a 'Big Game Big Cashback Offer' between September 15 to September 28 to get a chance to win 100 percent cashback n the smartphone. According to the terms and condtions landing page, those who are interested in participating in the contest, will have to purchase the smartphone in the eligible time frame and then need to fill an entry form. Once eligible, customers will then have to vote for a match played by the Indian cricket team between the contest period. The number of winners choses will be based on the batting score of the Indian cricket team from the ‘most voted’ match during contest period.
It should be noted that the 'terms and conditions' page for the contest does not specify any particular retailer that the phone needs to be purchaed from. However, Amazon seems to be the only retailer who has separately mentioned the contest on the listing page of the Oppo F9 Pro. The first round of voting shall be avaialble from September 13, while the second round will be either on September 20, or 21. Winners will be announced on October 8 via Oppo's social media channels.
Participation in this contest is voluntary and the contest is open for all citizens of India aged 18 years and above. The employees and the family members of the organiser, its associate companies, its advertising and promotional agencies and its auditors / executing agencies and their associate companies or anyone else professionally connected with the above are not eligible to take part in the contest, which ends on September 28.
Oppo F9 Pro specifications
Chinese tech major Oppo launched the Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro last month with a new type of notch called the Waterdrop notch. The smartphone comes with company’s VOOC Flash Charging technology and sports a Gradient Colour design. The Oppo F9 Pro comes in a single 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant at Rs 23,990.
The Oppo F9 Pro features a 6.3-inch display with a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a ‘Waterdrop’ notch design. The notch on the display of the F9 Pro features a single 25MP front camera, earpiece, and light-sensor inside it. OPPO says that it owns 46 patents related to the ‘Waterdrop’ Screen. The back panel of the F9 Pro is coloured and features a “whole gradient design” which it achieves using Gradient Spraying Technology to create a fusion of different colors.
There is a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone, below is the dual-camera setup, which consists of 16MP+2MP lenses. The main camera uses an aperture of f/1.8, and the assistant camera uses an aperture of f/2.4. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable to 256GB. The phone runs ColorOS 5.2, based on Android 8.1 and houses a 3,500mAh battery with an AI battery management system.
