Oppo Find X2 and Oppo Find X2 Pro have been confirmed to launch in the coming weeks in India. Both flagship smartphones were announced back in March with top-of-the-line specifications, 120Hz refresh rate display and more.

Oppo India’s official Twitter handle has posted a teaser video showcasing the Find X2 series, hinting at an imminent launch. As the Indian government eased some of the restrictions in place to combat COVID-19, smartphone manufacturers are slated to resume product launches in the country as they have been allowed to restart their factories.

Oppo hasn’t revealed the exact launch date but is expected to announce the phone in the coming weeks in India. The phone's listing is also live on Amazon India and user's can register their interest on the e-tailer's website. Let’s take a brief look at the specifications of Oppo Find X2 series.

Oppo Find X2 series specifications

Oppo Find X2 Pro comes in the ceramic or leather back panel with a topping of Gorilla Glass 5. It is IP68 rated which makes the phone resistant to dust and water for protection against daily wear and tear. The Find X2 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a QHD+ (3168 x 1440 pixels) resolution. The display has a high 120Hz refresh rate with support for HDR10+ playback and Gorilla Glass 6 for added protection.

The Find X2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G support, octa-core CPU and Adreno 650 GPU. This is further paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage options to choose from.

It comes with a triple camera setup that consists of a primary 48MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture and OIS support, a secondary 13MP telephoto-periscope lens with f/3.0 aperture and 5x optical zoom and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The rear cameras can shoot 4K UHD at up to 60fps backed by Electronic Image Stabilization. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera housed within the punch-hole cutout.

An optical fingerprint sensor is housed under the screen and the phone is packed with a 4,200mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging out-of-the-box. Oppo claims that it’s Super VOOC 2.0 charging solution can recharge the phone from 0-100 per cent in 38 minutes flat.

The regular Oppo Find X2 features the same set of hardware including the display, processor and battery. However, the camera setup uses a 13 MP telephoto lens instead of a periscope one, along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera supported by dual-LED flash.

The Find X2 is also IP54 rated and hence is just splash proof against drops of water, unlike the Pro variant that receives an IP68 certification.
