OnePlus launches referral program ahead of OnePlus 5 launch
The program lets anyone who has purchased a OnePlus device in the past to share a referral link with anyone planning to purchase a OnePlus phone in the future
With the launch of the OnePlus 5 coming up, the company has started a new referral program. The program aims to offer benefits to to anyone who has purchased a OnePlus device in the past, and has a friend or family member planning to buy a OnePlus device as well. Anyone who has purchased any OnePlus device, from the first OnePlus One to the latest OnePlus 3T, can get a unique referral link. Once they’ve got a link, they can share it with anyone interested in buying a OnePlus device. After the person buys the device, they will get 100 referral points in their account within 30 days. These points can be used to purchase accessories, discounts on devices, or OnePlus merchandise. In return for purchasing the device, the buyer will get $20 (approx. Rs. 1,300) off on any accessory.
The company notes in its official forum, “Over the years, the OnePlus family has grown by leaps and bounds, and we owe it all to you. By talking to your friends, recommending our products to your families, and promoting our stuff online, you guys are at the heart of what makes OnePlus great. No amount of marketing campaigns can ever match what you’ve done for this brand, and it’s about time you were rewarded for it.”

OnePlus is expected to launch its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 5 soon and the company has confirmed that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 platform. It will also be the first Snapdragon 835 powered device in India. Leaks and rumours have suggested that the upcoming device might sport a dual-rear camera setup and might be priced at around $449 (approx. Rs. 29,999).
