OnePlus edits out OnePlus 6T’s bottom bezel in its advertisement
In a promotional video posted on its social media channels, OnePlus has edited out the bottom bezel on the OnePlus 6T to suggest that it has a higher screen-to-body ratio than in reality
Do you think that the bottom bezel on the OnePlus 6T is a bit too much? Well, it looks like OnePlus seems to think so. In a new promotional video the company post on social media, the company seems to have edited out almost the entire bottom chin on the display. This is especially evident at the 44 second mark in the video when a user is shown playing Fortnite. The edit was first spotted by Twitter user, @pedropeguerojr.
While editing photos and videos for advertising purposes is nothing new, especially in the fashion industry. This highlights the fact that buyer shouldn’t take anything at face value, especially with regards to seen in any promotional photos or videos. Regardless, it also suggests that the guys over at OnePlus themselves aren’t very big fans of the bottom chin. So maybe we’ll see a removal of the bezel in future iterations of the phone.
