OnePlus India has launched an Assured Upgrade program for those who purchase the OnePlus 6T starting January 19, 2019 during the Republic Day sales on Amazon.in and OnePlus exclusive offline stores.

OnePlus India has introduced a new OnePlus Assured Upgrade program which works similar to how Apple’s iPhone upgrade program does in the US. The OnePlus Upgrade Program will be applicable for those who purchase the OnePlus 6T starting January 19, 2019 during the Republic Day sales on Amazon.in and OnePlus exclusive offline stores. The OnePlus Upgrade Program will cost buyers an additional Rs 199, and will offer them a maximum of 70% buyback and a minimum of 40% buyback on the purchase value of the OnePlus 6T smartphone. OnePlus says that the buyback will be offered between 3-12 months from purchase date of the device on upgrade to a future OnePlus flagship.
This could also be seen as a hint to when the next OnePlus smartphone will hit the market. If OnePlus starts offering the Assured Buyback program starting January 2019 and says that the buyback will be offered between 3-12 months on a future OnePlus flagship, it could mean that the OnePlus 7 or whatever the next OnePlus flagship is called, will launch in April. This also coincides with OnePlus’ 6 month smartphone refresh cycle.
Other offers on OnePlus 6T
In addition to the OnePlus Assured Buyback program, the company also announced that for a limited time period, it will offer upto Rs 1,500 cashback, Rs 2,000 additional off on exchange and upto 6 months of no-cost EMI starting January 19. The offers that will go live starting January 19, 2019 for Amazon Prime members and January 20, 2019 for all other users buying the OnePlus 6T smartphone. OnePlus 6T purchases through HDFC Bank credit and debit cards on Amazon.in will be eligible for Rs 1,500 instant discount and customers purchasing the OnePlus 6T on oneplus.in, OnePlus exclusive offline stores, Croma or Reliance Digital outlets will be eligible for Rs 1,500 cashback on all EMI transactions using SBI Bank credit cards starting January 19, 2019.
Those who buy the OnePlus 6T on Amazon.in, oneplus.in, Croma outlets, select Reliance Digital outlets and all OnePlus exclusive offline stores will also be able to avail upto 6 months of No-cost EMIs. An additional Rs 2,000 off is also on offer when exchanging old devices for the OnePlus 6T on Amazon.in, oneplus.in and at all OnePlus exclusive offline stores.
