While the company has announced the new software patches for its phones, the company’s CEO, Pete Lau is yet to make the announcement that he promised on April 15. The executive had earlier tweeted that some announcement regarding “the new device” would be made on April 17. However, no information has been revealed at the time of writing the article. If Lau does make an announcement, it is expected to be regarding either the company’s upcoming OnePlus 7 series of smartphones or maybe about the OnePlus TV, which was announced back in September 2018 and there’s been no information about it since then.
