Some users in the US have already started receiving the update, according to Sammy Fans. One UI 7 comes with a fresh design, upgraded widgets, and a new feature called the “Now Bar” on the lock screen that shows live updates.
The One UI 7 update also brings Galaxy AI tools like Writing Assist and Drawing Assist to help boost productivity. Plus, the update includes the latest April 2025 security patches to keep your device safer.

Meanwhile, newer devices like the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Tab S10 series already started receiving One UI 7 earlier this month. Samsung did face a minor issue earlier in April when some Galaxy S24 users experienced a lock screen glitch after the update. Luckily, the company quickly fixed the problem and continued rolling out One UI 7 to its flagship and premium devices.
For those using Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A-series phones, the One UI 7 update is expected to arrive a little later, likely in June.
