The Carl Pei-led Nothing is all set to release its phone in India. The company is planning to launch their Nothing Phone (1) in India on July 12, 2022. The product page of the smartphone has already gone live on the e-commerce site Flipkart. Some key features of the phone are also revealed in the listing ahead of the product launch. The smartphone will most likely cater to the mid-range audience. Although the prices of the phone haven’t been released as of now. But according to a news report, the smartphone is available for pre-booking on Flipkart from the day of its launch. 

Tipster Mukul Sharma, exclusively shared that the smartphone can be pre-booked at a price of Rs. 2,000. “ Nothing Phone (1) pre-booking details. Buyers will be able to pre-book the device by paying 2K. Coupon money will be adjusted during checkout (on the keynote date, July 12 itself). Plus, "variant of your choice" confirms multiple memory variants,” he wrote on Twitter.

As per leaks, Nothing Phone (1) features a 6.55-inch Full-HD + OLED Panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of about 2400×1080 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and has a RAM of 8GB. The phone runs on Android 12. When talking about cameras, Nothing Phone (1) is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera which is accompanied by two sensors. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera. 

“When you look inside almost any Android phone, they’re almost all exactly the same by Nothing”, head of design Tom Howard told the Wallpaper.” The idea behind including a translucent panel is to let the users view components that a smartphone user has never seen before” he added.
